UGS6 Sipi Falls, the Nile and Rafting

A 4 day safari which starts and finishes in Kampala. This safari can also be done on a private basis. It can also be done as an extension to Classic Rwanda and Uganda.

Volcanoes Sipi Lodge, in the foothills of Mount Elgon in eastern Uganda, overlooks Uganda’s most romantic and beautiful waterfall. It is the perfect place to relax and go for rambles, explore the many falls and caves. Excursions to climb Mount Elgon, visit the rock paintings or go rafting on the Nile can be added.

On safari clients stay 3 nights at Volcanoes Sipi Lodge.

Day 1 - THURSDAY
Briefing on your safari. Depart for Sipi, lunch en route. Walk to the falls and the local shambas. O/N: Volcanoes Sipi Lodge (FB).

Day 2/3 FRIDAY/SATURDAY
At Sipi. Go on a hike to the Mount Elgon Conservation Centre or walk to the other falls. Swim in the natural pool! Alternatively, explore the local village. O/N: Volcanoes Sipi Lodge (FB).

Day 4 SUNDAY
Time allowing, visit rock paintings at Kakoro and continue to the Source of the Nile at Jinja. Optional half-day rafting or bungy jumping on payment of supplement. Return to Kampala late afternoon (HB).
